Our Story
Will’s Dills were born from musician Will McCranie’s passion for all things pickled. The story goes that in the summer of 2012, a Bloody Mary party was in the works, and serving store-bought pickles was simply out of the question. In his tiny Sunnyside, Queens apartment, Will whipped up a test batch of spicy habanero dills that became known as Devil Dills. For the spice-averse crowd, he also crafted a non-spicy version — the perfectly balanced Garlic Dills (formerly known as the PG-13’s).
Fast forward a few years and a move back home to Augusta, Georgia, and the pickle project returned with a vengeance. Teaming up with three close friends, Will expanded the lineup to include Backwoods B+B’s, a sweet-heat bread-and-butter pickle. The buzz even led to a collaboration with Savannah River Brewing Co., which released a limited-edition pickle beer made with PG-13’s called “Wit is the Dill?”
After a well-earned hiatus, Will’s Dills will make their triumphant return in late 2025.
